AV2

The AV2 is designed to be used in addition to an existing stereo system or as part of a stand-alone home theatre. The NAIT5, for example, has a dedicated AV input, which if used in conjunction with the AV2 amplify the right and left channels. The remaining channels, surround and centre, are amplified using our three-channel amplifier, the NAPV175. [Please note that for DTS use a further NAP150 will be required.]
Our low-vibration, cast and machined aluminium chassis and cover house this exciting Naim AV component. Microphonic degradation of sound quality is greatly reduced by our Naim low-energy-transfer feet system and unique decoupling pillars for circuit board mounting. | |
NAVP 175

All home entertainment systems need the best possible amplification if they are to reproduce accurately the original soundtrack with all the dynamics and emotion the composer or director originally recorded.
Dynamics and emotion are trademarks of the Naim sound: the NAPV 175 three-channel amplifier is the perfect partner for our AV2 processor.
The power amplifier topology and layout of the NAPV 175 are derived from Naim’s flagship amplifier, the NAP 500. The best possible performance is achieved by using extremely fast, high power output transistors. All other components have been selected for ultimate sound quality.

n-System loudspeakers

The n-System is an extremely high quality loudspeaker system that`s designed to offer exceptional performance and versatility. The n-SATs, for example are designed to work well both as the front and rear channels of a 5.1 multi-channel system or as a good pair of small monitors for two-channel use.
The fully-shielded n-SAT features a 130mm, pulp cone driver with low-loss suspension and a phase plug, combined with a 19mm annular radiator HF driver as used in the Naim Ariva. The tweeter is mounted in a separate sealed enclosure and the 5-litre cabinet benefits from proprietary mass-damping and heavy duty internal wiring.
Designed to complement the n-SATs as part of a multi-channel audio or AV system, the n-CENT uses matching 130mm bass/mid units and an Ariva style HF driver mounted in a similarly robust enclosure. Each driver is fitted into its own separate chamber within the cabinet for optimum performance. | |
NAPV 145 mono power amplifier
| During the years of research that went into the flagship NAP 500, many technical developments came about that have been successfully applied to the NAPV 145. Based around the circuit topology of the latest NAP 250, the NAPV 145 provides even greater dynamic capabilities and enhanced audio performance, resulting in the perfect solution for high quality multi-channel or active audio systems
Like the NAP 500, the NAPV 145 uses a new circuit design with improved earthing arrangements, built on a high quality, anti-resonance main audio circuit board. It uses the same 007 transistors that were custom-designed for the NAP 500. These outstanding components each provide up to 80 Amps and 350 Watts, negating the need to use parallel pairs of transistors (which always have a negative effect on sound). Additional 007 transistors are used in the fully regulated power supply, ensuring the best performance. | |
