Uni-pivot

| The low-mass, Naim uni-pivot tone-arm is designed to offer the very best phono cartridges delicate yet precise support at all audio frequencies.
Its geometry and construction ensure that difficulties with warped records, end of side distortion and temperature or humidity problems are greatly reduced. It incorporates a fixed headshell and an extremely stiff, light arm-tube. The low slung counterweight, used to adjust tracking force, places the mass in exactly the right position for both stability and minimum inertia and will remain set even when the arm-tube is lifted clear of the turntable.
Arm-tops can be purchased separately to facilitate easy and fast cartridge changes without the need for realignment and recalibration. Also available is a retrofittable lift/lower device called the Aromatic.

Stageline phono stage

| The Stageline is a separate phono stage, available in either moving coil or moving magnet versions, designed to optimise sound quality from a wide range of cartridges.
The Stageline can be powered either from a special socket on the rear of the NAIT 5 or by a separate supply such as the Flat-Cap 2 for even better performance.
Armageddon

| The Armageddon is a turntable power supply for the Linn Sondek LP12. It is built around a large 430VA toroidal transformer. Simplicity is the key to its uniquely musical sound.
Housed in a single, Hi-Cap style, extruded aluminium case, it contains a simple phase shift network. It does not use mains filters as we have found these to be sonically detrimental. (We came across one turntable supply that severely degraded the performance of several systems immediately it was plugged into the mains supply -- without being switched on or connected to anything!)
Prefix phono stage

| The Prefix is a separate, remote phono stage designed to be sited as close as possible to the tone-arm and cartridge.
For instance, in the Linn Sondek LP12, the Prefix is fitted inside the turntable plinth -- see the diagram below -- and the arm cable is removed. Taking the arm cable out of the signal path makes a huge improvement to the deck`s performance.
Although the Prefix slots most easily into an LP12 fitted with a Naim uni-pivot tone-arm, it can be adapted by your dealer to suit other turntables and tone-arms with which it can provide similar performance enhancements. |
